Comparing to Velvet Teddy and Taupe, Chili is less creamier but still, it is not drying at all when compared to other matte lipsticks out there. Even though I prefer it to be warm but it actually looks quite bright on me but I don’t mind it anyway because it is still a pretty color.

It has an orange undertone and it looks very warm on many skin tones so this is the perfect red for the fall time. I almost never wear red lipstick but if I ever do, this would definitely be my kind of red.

It’s very pigmented like most MAC lipsticks are and since it’s satin, it keeps your lips hydrated but still gives a semi-matte finish. It looks super flattering on my skin and I think it would look stunning on many skin tones. Very hard to describe since the color is quite unique. I adore this color so muchhh! It’s kind of a medium-dark brown with a red undertone. It flatters pretty much every skin tone and the color doesn’t look the same on everyone. It is warm pink color with a hint of brown and I assume this color is very on trend right now. I know Twig was one of the most famous MAC lipsticks a few years ago and it was just as hot as velvet teddy or whirl back then. Satin gives a semi-matte finish and feels very comfortable on the lips. When I first bought this, I wore every single day just because it is so easy to wear and the color is amazing. Also, every skin tone could rocks this color!

Again, it’s matte but still very moisturizing and creamy.

On my lips, it has a brown/reddish undertone and I tried the gradient lips with this color and it looks just as amazing as when applied full lips. It is a dark nude with warm undertone and it suits my skin very well. I bought this very recently but it already became one of my favorite nudes. Although this is matte, it feels really creamy and not drying at all. On whiter skin, it stays true to its color or just a bit darker than the hand swatch and this lipstick works best with ones with white skin. It looks very pale on dark skin tone and it is not the good kind of pale. I don’t wear as often anymore because now it makes me look unhealthy and maybe it’s because my skin tone changed. It is my very first MAC lipstick and I wore it so much that half of the lipstick is gone after less than 2 months. Of course I gave one back because one is already enough. There was a time when every Youtuber was raving about Velvet Teddy and I wanted it so bad that 2 of my friends bought me this for my birthday. This is a nude lipstick and on my hand, it looks like it has a pink undertone but it looks more brown and nudeish on the lips. Properly one of the most well-known MAC lipstick. Also, even though I like matte lipstick, retro matte is a bit too dry for me. Satin has the tiniest shine so I really don’t mind and it is less drying than the matte ones too. To find the color that suit you the best, I recommend to always come to the store and swatch it yourself.Īll of these are either matte or satin because shiny lips isn’t my thing. Like I said, MAC has a lot of colors to choose from so many of them might look very similar.
